This film is extruded from virgin high density polyethylene resins, molecularly oriented through a stretching process. The two single-ply layers are laminted bi-directionally. The grain orientation of each layer are run at a 90 degree angle to eachother, which produces a high strength material. It is then finished through a heated ribbing process which produces a very strong and durable finished product. Our material surpasses all of the specifications of the ANSI/AWWA C105/A21.5 standard and has exceptional resistance to punctures and tears that may occur during the installation and backfilling process.
As with all protection methods, proper installation is vital to the success of the Polywrap. Care needs to be used when installing this item so it is not damaged.
